The Oyster Box Wedding of Zara & Andy was the most perfect intimate affair. With guests coming all the way from the UK to share in their celebrations.
I asked Zara to share their story with us…
“A small intimate wedding is exactly what we wanted, we wanted everything to be about us and the love we share. Our family and friends loved being in South Africa, for most it was their first visit. Our wedding was the perfect excuse. Which made it even more special that we got to introduce this wonderful country to our favorite people.
In 2018 Andy proposed on Umhlanga beach and it was perfect. It was just us, by the waves and a photographer hiding in the background (which I didn’t know about!). After saying yes, we went to the Oyster Box for a celebration drink. It didn’t even cross our mind to get married at the Oyster Box until we were back in the UK. We decided to book our dream day. It is also traditional for the bride and groom to get married in the country where the bride was born so it was perfect”
